This winter Miike Snow are heading back to Aussie shores to headline shows in Sydney and Melbourne.
The trio, named for a single, have recently released their second album Happy To You which is available through Universal. For this album they have further developed their sound and expanded their instrument stable to incorporate strings, horns, trumpets, glockenspiels and a marching band.
Miike Snow was hailed one of 2009’s biggest breakout successes and the hits ‘Silvia’ and ‘Animal’ from their self titled debut album made themselves at home on dance floors and festival grounds across the globe.
Extensive touring has seen Miike Snow play across 27 countries in 18 months, including Australian shows in 2010. Shows which knocked the socks of local audiences, the performance skills and live production were flawless. Leaving audiences eagerly anticipating a return.
The wait is finally over! July is coming up quick and Miike Snow will be in the country to play 2 headline shows for fans in Sydney and Melbourne. This is a group that has played to record breaking crowds at sold out shows across North America and Europe.
