One of the latest releases to the Britax family is the Safe-n-Sound Tourer Booster Seat. Suitable for children aged from approximately four years up to eight years old, this Australian designed and made carseat is an easy purchase.
This is a lightweight, untethered design which is perfect for busy parents or grandparents and allows for swapping between cars with minor effort. While it may be lightweight that doesn’t mean it is lacking protection, with safety features you would expect from Safe-n-Sound including:
- Slideguard Clip – keeps the seat belt in place which can make a big difference in preventing abdominal injuries in a crash
- Rear Impact Bars – this supports the structure of the seat and gives protection for the neck
- Impact Absorbing Seat Base – not only does this give added comfort but absorbs the extra force which could occur during a crash
- Deep headrest – for additional head protection
This booster seat has shoulder markers and sash guide to allow for seating your child correctly. This is the tallest design in Australia, and with a five year old son who appears to be growing overnight this is a big positive.
