Recently I was introduced to zk’in (pronounced “skin”), an Australian brand of certified organic, vegan and cruelty free skincare products. The products contain no petrochemicals, parabens, sulphates, GMO ingredients or nano particles.
While “natural” has become somewhat of a buzz-word, what I like about this brand is that it is both organic and results proven. The brand also prides itself on providing anti-ageing skincare for those of us who are feeling the effects of gravity.
The General Manager for zk’in is Karen Varker who said,
“I hear a lot of women who are frustrated that their natural products are ineffective when it comes to age prevention. Something else you don’t always expect from an eco-friendly beauty brand is fresh, crisp packaging. The boxes are white and green with a stripe of colour coding depending on their type. While I am still new to the range, I have been fortunate enough to try a couple of the products and my favourites (so far) are the Clarifying Exfoliator (RRP $39.95) and the Line Smoothing Serum.
The Exfoliator took me by surprise as in my excitement I didn’t read the packaging to see it had organic coffee beans in it – and we all know how wonderful that can be (especially the scent)! It also contains oatmeal and other goodies, leaving your skin feeling refreshed and smooth. The Line Smoothing Serum (RRP $59.95) has a lovely, subtle scent to it and can be applied under your moisturiser for a little wrinkle tightening action.
