New Single and National Tour for Imogen Brough

Imogen Brough is a talented singer-songwriter who appeared on the second season of The Voice and is just about to unveil her new single. The single titled Heart is set for a Valentine’s Day release. To celebrate the release Imogen is embarking on a national tour as a support act for Michael Paynter, the tour kicks off in Brisbane on February 12 and wraps in May at the Port Fairy Folk Festival.

Heart is a magnificent debut. The track is encompassing and impassioned, beautifully layered and uplifting. Imogen’s vocals are unique and powerful, showcasing her Celtic-pop influences while embracing light and shade throughout the track alongside ethereal melodies.

The song was produced by the extremely talented industry favourite Michael Paynter, and now Imogen is set to embark on a national tour as support for Michael Paynter with shows in Melbourne, Sydney, Cronulla, Dee Way, Kincumber, Adelaide, Newcastle and Brisbane.

Imogen lists  Enya and Loreena McKennitt among her inspirations with her love of folk and Celtic music instilled from a very young age. She was able to tour Europe with the all-female big band Sweethearts during high school before branching out to pursue solo endeavors. She was handpicked to support legendary musician Brian Kennedy on his national tour last year. Her time on The Voice last year may have been short but it was certainly not without impact. All four judges fought for Imogen to join their team with the win going to Ricky Martin. Her blind audition for The Voice was Florence and The Machine’s ‘Never Let Me Go’ and it is pushing 1.5 million views on YouTube.

Heart will be available via iTunes from February 14th.
