This Sanctuary new single Rumour

The new single from young Sydney pop rockers is Rumour, taken from the Maybe We Weren’t Meant To Get It EP. The release will be celebrated with a launch gig at The Hi Fi Bar on September 15 alongside the Indonesian pop rock band Noah.

Monday September 3 is the big day for Australian media to get Rumour and the song has already been chosen as the musical anthem for the latest anti-bullying campaign. It has seen the band hit the road for an 8-date schools tour. This Sanctuary is proud to be part of a cause they are passionate about, and unveiling the new and thought-provoking film clip.

Lead vocalist Renee Seiff explains, “It works on a concept with masks.  We wanted to send out a message that people can be fake in the real world, often because they are afraid of what people will think of them.  At the end of the clip, the individuals decide to remove their masks as a sign that they are going to be strong and not care what anyone thinks of them anymore.”
