Beauty and the Bees

Beauty and the Bees was another addition to this seasons Beauty and Lace Box, and now I bring to you some relevant information about this Tasmanian, all-natural brand and also my opinion on the divinely scented rose-geranium soap.

Beauty and the Bees is a sigh of relief for all those whom suffer from sensitive/dry/eczema prone skin. All products are made from SCRATCH (note the capitals) and are essentially food for your skin. Each product is so pure and natural they truly are safe to eat – not that I’d recommend doing so – and the moisture creams are quite popular with their own little cult following – with rave reviews of improved skin texture, moisture and general skin-happiness.

Now, back to the soap, I tried the Damask Rose Clay and leatherwood honey version. This pretty pink soap is made with a concoction of coconut and olive oils, leatherwood beeswax (which is unique to Tasmania, there’s your fun fact for the day) plus essential oils. Lather up and you’ll find yourself with an ultra-creamy but soothing lather which leaves skin clean and fresh. The damask rose scent is soft and leaves your limbs with a gentle fragrance. The 125gram bar is highly affordable and will last through many indulgent showers.

Beauty and the Bees promises that –

  • You’ll find no synthetic scents
  • Non-irritating
  • Gentle on skin
  • 100% chemical free
  • No plastics
  • No false claims
  • You’ll be pleasantly happy with the luxurious feel of the products
