Gilette Venus has a new BFF as it partners with Olay to create a special razor for women. Having a moisturisng bar included with a razor isn’t anything new, but the fact that it is a collaboration with Olay is a first for the two brands.
You get five blades for a silky, hair free result which is the most important thing when choosing a razor. The head pivots so you can access tricky areas easier including your knees (because you really don’t want smooth legs and hairy knees when wearing a cute dress). The handle is also designed for an ergonomic grip which is a nice little feature but maybe not that unique.
Having the Olay moisture bar makes shaving much more convenient, you don’t need to use any other additional product as it releases a moisturising cream as you go. The fact that it is Olay gives it that beauty expertise you wouldn’t normally get in a razor.
You can hang it in shower – I like that it is a small, unobtrusive suction that isn’t difficult to remove if you do decide to switch to a different shaving method in the future.
The Gillette Venus and Olay Razor is available in supermarkets now for $14.99. Replacement cartridges are available for RRP $19.99 for a three pack.
