National Creative Team Leader Kate Squires explains how to recreate the look at home:

What was the brief and/or inspiration for the look from the designer/brand?

A white hot Arabian Summer is the inspiration behind the Alex Perry collection. We wanted to create a look that enchanted and enticed but was also influenced by the exotic Arabia.

Napoleon created the look of a summer goddess with an Arabian twist but including a dramatic eyes and a glittering face.

Describe the look:

A little shimmer, a little shadow and a lot of chutzpah—that’s the Alex Perry beauty look informed by night time glamour. Models eyes were lined in black kohl and embellished with a dramatic metallic charcoal that extends to the temples.

A glint of silver placed strategically in the eye socket updates the smokey eye look. Luminous skin, soft pink lips and insouciant attitude completed the funky, slightly futuristic look.

Transforming runway to reality:

Decrease the length of the winged eyeliner but still recreate the silver, smokey eye. The silver used of the rim of the eye creates a twist on the traditional smiley eye.

To achieve a similar shimmer on the forehead. Use a makeup brush to carefully pick up a small amount of glitter. Tilt the head back and lightly tap the brush over the face for a subtle yet shimmering affect.
